Third Grade is sponsoring a
book drive from September 12-22.
To support the discharge experience at UNC Children’s Hospital, the hospital staff sends each discharged child home with The Little Engine That Could book.
Please donate by bringing NEW hard or
paperback copies of the book to Mrs. Carter
or Mrs. Bennett’s classrooms (rooms 101 and 102). We will also have a drop off bin in the front lobby.
Copies of the book are sold at Target and Walmart. They are also available on the
Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites. Please tell your friends and family as we would love to exceed the 400 books that we collected last school year.
