Spreading Kindness and Preventing Bullying: How to Empower our Children for Success

The StMM PSO invites you to our first meeting! Our goal this year is to provide educational opportunities to support our school community.  To that end, we have invited national speaker, Mr. James Johnson, to share his expertise on building self-esteem in our children. He will address the high incidence of bullying, and the negative effects that can be long-lasting if not properly addressed. Mr. Johnson will help us understand our role in reducing bullying and building self-esteem in our children along with tips on how to help build resiliency in children who have become disengaged. Your child is never too young or old to benefit from what you will learn in this session!

About Mr. Johnson: James Johnson is the CEO and senior consultant/trainer for Life Strategies Solutions. He is a retired 20-year veteran of the New York City Police Department and has over 31 years of experience in youth development and community affairs. Mr. Johnson has worked with numerous agencies internationally such as the New York Board of Education, Forum for public National administrators, North Carolina Department of Public Information, and the Republic of Costa Rica.
We will be providing childcare during meeting times for students in pre-k through 5^th grade.  The childcare will be staffed by a C-level Certified Adult and students from our middle school.
